While I can see that you have specified certain products for given storage volumes (e.g 300 sqft), I still need to know the ethylene absorption rate of this product so I can calculate the correct requirements for my particular application. This is important to me since ethylene production varies with fruit temperature. ?Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

    Smelleze Ethylene Absorbent Pouch will absorb approximately 15 -20 weight percent of ethylene depending upon local conditions like temperature and humidity. For example 1000 g will absorb about 150 g of ethylene gas.

  • Hello my name is Phillip Daminopoulos. I have a cool store and I store pears and apples. Each room holds 500 bins of fruit which equals 264.000 kilos of fruit. Size is 8m wide x 16m long x 7m high. How many Smelleze bags do I need? Your advice will be much appreciated.

    I would suggest starting off by using about 12 x Smelleze Ethylene Absorbent Pouch: XX Large and then adjust up or down if necessary. You can also consider including smaller packages (e.g. our large size or we could make smaller sizes for you) with each bin during transportation OR including 3-4 Smelleze Ethylene Absorbent Pouch: XX Large in the shipping container for protection.
