Q & A
Questions & AnswersAsk a Question
Found your website when searching. We have found cardboard archive box of books in garage (from about 30 + years ago during my travel overseas). Sometime ago a mouse must have got into box and chewed old newspaper and left fecel matter and urine smell behind. Would Smelleze work on these books? The books are virtually okay a small amount of mould but really problem is smell.

Does this deodorizer help with the smell of new books as well? I have a lot of problems with this and sometimes I just have to give up and not read the book.
Yes, absolutely! The SMELLEZE Reusable Book Odor Eliminator Pouch will remove the 'new book' smell that comes from the inks and solvents used in the printing process. When the latter have not completely dried in the manufacturing process, they continue to outgas after you buy them and stink. Simply store the new book or up to 10 new books with a pouch for a week to neutralize the new book odor. You can repeat the process if needed and reuse the product in the future as well.
What is the dimension of the bag? Will it accommodate a 14" x 11" magazine?
The product (pouch with contains the odor remover) itself is only about 4 x 6 inches but the books do not have to be placed inside this bag to deodorize. What you can do is place the about 10 magazines with a pouch in a plastic bag or container for about a week and allow it to pull the bad odors out. Rejuvenate the pouch and repeat this procedure if necessary until you are satisfied with the results. The process will go faster if you can stand the magazines up and fan them so the odors can be allowed to be drawn out more easily.
