How to Use SmellRid® Packs

For a breath of fresh air, remove the SmellRid® Packs from the outer plastic bag and place them near odors or in small spaces. You can use fans or open windows to increase air circulation for quicker results. The idea is to get the maximum amount of air flowing through the packs for the fastest odor removing results unless you are using it in an enclosed space, bag or box. SmellRid® is totally portable so feel to move it around to get the most out of it. Use the recommended amount of packs shown in Table 1 for the area you’re treating and smell the difference. SmellRid® is reusable and will work for many years.

How to Rejuvenate & Reuse SmellRid® Packs

Rejuvenate SmellRid® monthly or when a noticeable increase in odor is detected by simply placing it in direct sunlight for a day and reuse. For optimal results, place the packs on an aluminum foil and flip occasionally to ensure that all the coconut shell activated charcoal is being exposed to the sun and rejuvenated fully.

To speed up smell removal or when treating severe odors, SmellRid® may be rejuvenated weekly or more often for the best performance. Rejuvenation will still work in the winter because it’s the UV light that primarily refreshes SmellRid® rather than the heat. Rejuvenation will also work during cloudy days but may just take a bit longer.

SmellRid® should NOT be rejuvenated in a microwave or oven because it can burn and may be a fire hazard.
