5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Polyurethane Vapors Removed From Newly Refinsihed Hardwood Floors, Reviewer: Brain D. (Madison)

I was very excited to refinish our beaten up hardwood floors after 30 years of wear and tear and restore it to new. What I didn't expect was to get stuck with an unbearable amount of vapors from the polyurethane finish. The hardwood floors looked great but the noxious fumes drove us out of our home. We had to check into a hotel because my wife was getting sick from the urethane vapor. Needless to say I had to do something quickly to fix this problem otherwise I was going to end up in the dog house permanently! I scoured the internet and was lucky to find VaporSorb™ Eco Vapor Remover Granules. It seemed like this product was custom made for my problem. I had it shipped overnight by UPS and applied a generous amount all over the hardwood floors and let it start pulling those polyurethane vapors out. I noted an incredible difference the next day. The product was working! I was excited and repeated the treatment a couple more times and got rid of all the fumes. We moved back into our home and my wife said I was her hero! Now we can finally enjoy my handiwork

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 No More Diesel Smell in my Garage! , Reviewer: Chris W (Dallas)

Last year, we suffered from an accidental diesel spill in our garage. Since it was dangerous, we called in professionals to clean the area which they did! But the only problem was a lingering diesel odor persisted. It was so stubborn that nothing we tried worked for us. Then one day, I stumbled upon an advertisement for VAPORSORB™. I was skeptical at first because of my poor experience with other products but my wife coaxed me upon buying it. Reluctantly, I ordered your VAPORSORB™ Vapor Absorbing Granules and just scattered it on my garage floor and left it for a few days to absorb the diesel fumes. And boy, was I was surprised by the way it worked! The product was miraculous. I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Vaporeze Eliminates Solvent Vapors in University of Minnesota Chemistry Lab!, Reviewer: Sravan J (Duluth)

I am Sravan from the University of Minnesota. I have used Vaporeze Vapor Absorbent Pouches to absorb and eliminate various solvent fumes since 2009. I have been using them in flammable cabinets, where we usually store solvents in our Chemistry Research Laboratory. I have observed a considerable decrease of solvent vapors in our labs since I started using Vaporeze. I am very satisfied with the product and the excellent results it produced. They worked well for almost five months, in spite of heavy solvent storage. We have reordered Vaporeze several times. We are a regular customer for this environmentally safe product and will continue to use Vaporeze on an ongoing basis to eliminate hazardous solvent vapors and improve safety in our labs. Encapsulate Hazardous Spills & Vapors for Safe Disposal

Many chemicals which are stored or spilled can saturate the air with harmful vapors. In addition, organic chemical spills could also result in a serious fire hazard.

The VaporSorb™ Vapor Absorbent Granules can be effectively used to absorb, neutralize and encapsulate various spills and related vapors for safe disposal. VaporSorb™ is non-flammable and will reduce the explosive nature of gases it absorbs and act as a fire retardant if added to flammable liquids. It will reduce the temperature if applied to a liquid that has caught fire making the blaze easier to extinguish. VaporSorb™ can also be used to aid the solidification of hazardous chemicals and sludge. VaporSorb™ will truly cleanse the air of noxious vapors, complement existing ventilation systems, and create a safer environment.

For a breath of fresh air, simply sprinkle VaporSorb™ granules generously on spill, allow to absorb, clean and smell the difference. It may also be placed in open containers near spills to eliminate noxious vapors and fumes.

VaporSorb™ is non-toxic, safe, recyclable, natural, odorless, non-flammable and non-caustic. VaporSorb™ is an ideal environmentally friendly solution for eliminating dangerous vapors and fumes without adding pollutants to the air you breathe. It does not contain VOCs, harmful or ozone depleting chemicals and is especially beneficial for those suffering from allergies and chemical sensitivity. No fossil fuels are used in the production of VaporSorb™ vapor and fume removal media.

    Vapor Problems

Various combustible, flammable and noxious vapors can be generated from spills, stored chemicals, and in normal industrial and commercial operations. This can quickly saturate the air with harmful vapors since most ventilation systems only recirculate room air and remove large particulate matter such as dirt, dust, and lint. Noxious vapors are left free to recirculate in the air you breathe. Over time, they could increase in concentration in manufacturing areas, cabinets, chemical storage areas, etc. and result in a serious fire hazard as well as an indoor air pollution problem. This could lead to complaints from customers as well as employees and OSHA fines.

According to the EPA, "indoor pollution can be as much as 100 times greater than outdoors." Since most people spend close to 90% of their time indoors, indoor air pollution poses a serious health risk. Medical problems that have been associated with poor indoor air quality include dizziness, headaches, eye nose or throat irritation, dry or itchy skin, nausea, shortness of breath, difficulty in concentrating, fatigue, sensitivity to odors, allergies, depression, and chronic illnesses.

    The Solution

The VaporSorb™ Vapor Absorbent Granules were specially developed to remove harmful vapors from the atmosphere by adsorbing, neutralizing, and encapsulating them on contact for safe disposal. VaporSorb™ is non-flammable and will reduce the explosive nature of whatever gas it absorbs. It will also act as a fire retardant if applied to a flammable liquids and reduce the temperature of the liquid making the blaze easier to extinguish. Furthermore, VaporSorb™ can reduce the aggressiveness of smoke and hazardous vapors that are emitted. It will also aid the solidification of hazardous chemicals and sludge. VaporSorb™ will truly cleanse the air of noxious vapors and complement existing ventilation systems. It works quickly, efficiently, cost-effectively, and results in reducing the health risks associated with vapor build up.

    How VaporSorb™ Works

The VaporSorb™ Vapor Absorbent Granules are a natural highly absorbent material that can be used to eliminate noxious vapors. VaporSorb™ is negatively charged whereas many vapors ride on positively charged particles. As a result, VaporSorb™ draws in vapors like a strong magnet. Thereafter, it traps, neutralizes, and encapsulates vapors without smelly cover-ups. The molecular structure of VaporSorb™ is made up of a lattice structure arranged to form a honeycomb framework of billions of interconnecting channels. This gives VaporSorb™ an enormous surface area that is larger than several football fields. The latter enables VaporSorb™ to adsorb phenomenal amounts of vapors and work for months.

    Environmentally Friendly

The VaporSorb™ Vapor Absorbent Granules are non-toxic, safe, non-hazardous, natural, non-scented, non-flammable, and non-caustic. It is an ideal environmentally friendly solution for eliminating vapors and improving indoor air quality. VaporSorb™ does not contain chemical additives and is especially beneficial for those suffering from chemical sensitivity.

    Applications

VaporSorb™ can be effectively used by all types of industrial and commercial facilities to adsorb vapor from any spill or enclosed area. Typical applications include:

    • Chemical Spills
    • Organic Waste Cans
    • Chemical Storage Rooms
    • Shipping Containers
    • Top Of Solvent Drums
    • Dry Cleaners
    • Laboratories
    • Any Other Enclosed Area With Vapors

    Directions

For a breath of fresh air, simply sprinkle VaporSorb™ granules generously on the spill to cover it, clean, and smell the difference. Repeat, if necessary, until vapor is eliminated. This product may also be placed in an open top container adjacent to noxious vapors to adsorb them. Use at least 4 pounds for every 400 square feet. This product will function most efficiently in enclosed areas with good air circulation. For extra effectiveness, use this product in conjunction with VaporSorb™ Vapor Absorbent Pouch.

CHUCK: I have purchased 6 new rubber floor mats for behind a bar area. The rubber smell is too much for my customers to bear. Is there something I can do to eliminate this odor? Thank you.

ANSWER: To eliminate the strong rubber odor from the source, sprinkle a generous layer of VAPORSORB Vapor Remover Pellets on the rubber mat and allow them to extract the fumes for few hours or a day. To accelerate this process, you can leave the rubber mats with the pellets exposed to full sunlight. The heat and UV light will boost the odor removal speed of the product. Furthermore, you can place VAPORSORB Reusable Vapor Removing Pouches in the bar area to clean the air of the nasty chemical rubber smell.

KELLY: We have recently bought a house and uplifted some laminate flooring in one third of the house. The concrete floor is producing a strong ammonia smell. We have tried to clean it but it didn't work. We have also had it sealed with hydropoxy 101 by Newplex which was expensive. This also didn't work and the smell was a mixture of ammonia and paint. We have laid a sheet of polyurethane down and tried to seal it which has improved it but not much. We want to carpet the area as it is our main bedroom part of the hallway and a small spare bedroom. We also have a 2 year old. I have been looking at some of your products to help the situation. Please can you best advise me on what product will help the ammonia/paint/polyurethane fumes please. We are in New Zealand so we want to make sure we are making the right choice before we order. Hope you can help :o( Thanks in advance.

ANSWER: I would recommend sprinkling VAPORSORB Vapor Elimination Granules on the floor to draw out as much of the ammonia, paint, and polyurethane vapors as possible. Furthermore, you can place VAPORSORB Vapor Removing Pouches in the affected areas to absorb the airborne fumes.

RONALD: I have a new 4,500 square foot house that is emitting urethane smell from the newly finished hardwood floors. It’s been two weeks and I can’t get rid of the urethane fumes no matter what I do. I have a new born baby so I’m very concerned for her safety and desperately need your help to get that chemical smell out ASAP.

ANSWER: This is a common problem with newly finished hardwood floors that are treated with polyurethane. This product contains solvents which will continue to outgas until the floors are completely dry. To accelerate this process and reduce your exposure to fumes and odor, sprinkle VAPORSORB Vapor Removing Powder on the entire floor and allow it to work for 1-2 days. This product is engineered to draw out polyurethane and other chemicals and absorb it into its highly porous molecular structure. If necessary, repeat this procedure until all the odors are gone. Furthermore, place VAPORSORB Vapor Eliminating Bags around the house and on return vents to filter and clean the air.

RON: I have a 300 square foot basement. Whenever I have furnace tune-up done, the technician always spills fuel oil which leaves the basement smelling really bad. What do you recommend to get rid the fuel oil odors?

ANSWER: I would recommend sprinkling VAPORSORB Vapor Absorbing Granules on the floor to absorb any spills and odors before it’s released into the air. Then place a VAPORSORB Reusable Vapor Absorber Pouch near the furnace to clean the air of oil and fuel fumes. After you have eliminated the problem, you can store this product in a zip-lock plastic bag until you need it the next time when you do furnace maintenance.

STEVE: We laid down a new laminate flooring in the kitchen. It gives out a strong odor that’s making me sick where I can't use the room. How can I solve this problem?

ANSWER: This problem is probably due to the laminate off-gassing smelly chemicals used in the manufacturing process. You can accelerate this process and pull out the chemical laminate odors by applying VAPORSORB Vapor AbsorberGranules to the floor, leaving for a few hours or overnight, and sweeping up. This can be repeated as necessary until the problem is eliminated. Furthermore, you can place a SMELLEZE Chemical Reusable Chemical Smell Removal Pouch in the room to rid the nasty smell from the laminate flooring.

JERRY: How can I get rid of kerosene odor!!

ANSWER: You can do this by placing VAPORSORB Vapor Absorbing Pouches in the problems areas. This product will attract and eliminate the kerosene fumes and associated smells.
