I Got a Smell-Free LRS with Smelleze Granules
    By (Belleville) [7.20.2019]
I purchased new furniture from Rooms to Go. I returned a leather LRS because of the smell after 5 months. I now have a fabric LRS for over 1 month. The smell was not as strong, but I couldn’t stay in the room for long without getting lightheaded. When I learnt about your scent-free, eco-safe products I placed an online order and received the package quickly. After a few treatments of sprinkling and vacuuming I got the result I was hoping for, smell-free LRS!

Salvaged Our Hardwood Floors from Formaldehyde Smell
    By (Clearwater) [7.19.2019]
We had high levels of formaldehyde throughout our house due to installing engineered hardwood flooring. Smelleze™ Natural Formaldehyde Absorbent is the only product that was able to eliminate formaldehyde from the adhesives consistently. We did sprinkle it a couple of times for two weeks but ultimately the result was quite satisfactory.

I bought new furniture. Couch and loveseat. The odor was killing us. I and my child have allergies and asthma. The smell was from out-gassing but I didn't want to get rid of my new furniture and I have cats I was concerned about as well. I am quite impressed with the Smelleze™ Natural Formaldehyde Spill & Odor Cleanup Absorbent that comes with a promise of being 100% natural and does not cause any allergies. It does work and I used it for a couple weeks and it did not trigger any of our allergies. Thanks for your help.

    Proved it Works!
    By (Knoxville) [7.1.2016]
We use formaldehyde as a raw material in our manufacturing process and were looking for a specialized absorbent to use as part of our Formaldehyde Spill Control Kit. We tested various absorbers but found that Smelleze Formaldehyde Spill Treatment Granules provided superior performance and stood out. Since incorporating this spillage product in our safety plan, we have had a couple accidents and this product certainly proved itself when it counted most. Would recommend it.

    Formaldehyde can cause Cancer

Formaldehyde, a colorless, pungent smelling gas, is in widespread use in products such as particle board, insulation, plywood, laminates, cosmetics, dyes, smoke, fertilizers, fiberboard, filters, leathers, paper, plastic, rubber, textiles, etc. and can be emitted from them because it vaporizes at room temperature. In addition, formaldehyde is used in products such as embalming fluids, fuels, fungicides, adhesives and paints which can result in spills.

Medical problems associated with formaldehyde exposure include watery eyes, burning sensations in the eyes and throat, nausea, and difficulty in breathing. High concentrations may trigger asthma attacks. Some people can develop chemical sensitivity after exposure to formaldehyde. Formaldehyde is also a known to cause cancer.

For a breath of fresh air, simply sprinkle Smelleze® Natural Formaldehyde Spill & Odor Absorbent Granules on the spill and sweep up after the spill is absorbed. Smelleze® will contain dangerous formaldehyde spills and cleanse the air of odors, complement existing ventilation systems and create a safer environment.

Smelleze® is non-toxic, safe, natural, odorless, non-flammable and non-caustic. Smelleze® is an ideal environmentally friendly solution for eliminating dangerous formaldehyde spills and odors without adding pollutants to the air you breathe. It does not contain VOCs, harmful or ozone depleting chemicals and is especially beneficial for those suffering from allergies and chemical sensitivity. No fossil fuels are used in the production of Smelleze® odor control media.

    Formaldehyde Odor Problems

Formaldehyde, a colorless, pungent-smelling gas, is in widespread industrial use. Furthermore, it is found in a wide variety of products e.g. adhesives, carpets, curtains, cosmetics, dyes, embalming chemicals, explosives, fertilizers, filters, furniture, fiberboard, fuels, intermediate chemicals, insulation, upholstery, laminates, leather, lubricants, paints, papers, plastics, pharmaceuticals, rubber, surface coatings, photographic products, urethane resins, water softening chemicals, cigarette smoke, poorly vented gas appliances, etc. Formaldehyde can be released from many of these products because it vaporizes at room temperature.

Unfortunately, most ventilation systems only recirculate room air and remove large particulate matter such as dirt, dust, and lint. Noxious formaldehyde odors are left free to recirculate in the air you breathe. Over time, they could increase in concentration and result in serious indoor air pollution problems e.g. sick building syndrome. Medical problems that have been associated with formaldehyde exposure include watery eyes, burning sensations in the eyes and throat, nausea, and difficulty in breathing. High concentrations may trigger asthma attacks in people with asthma. There is evidence that some people can develop chemical sensitivity after exposure to formaldehyde. Furthermore, formaldehyde is also known to pose a carcinogenic and mutagenic risk to humans. The health and odor problems associated with formaldehyde could lead to complaints from customers as well as employees and OSHA fines.

    The Solution

The Smelleze® Natural Formaldehyde Spill & Odor Absorbent Granules was specially developed to adsorb, neutralize, and encapsulate formaldehyde odors on contact. Smelleze® will truly cleanse the air of noxious formaldehyde odors, complement existing ventilation systems, and create a safer cleaner environment.

    It's No Cover-up

The Smelleze® Natural Formaldehyde Spill & Odor Absorbent Granules are a natural deodorizer that can be used to eliminate noxious and unpleasant formaldehyde odors instead of merely masking them with perfumes. Smelleze® is negatively charged whereas formaldehyde odors ride on positively charged particles. As a result, Smelleze® draws in formaldehyde odors like a strong magnet. Thereafter, it traps, neutralizes, and encapsulates the odors without smelly cover-ups. The molecular structure of Smelleze® is made up of a lattice structure arranged to form a honeycomb framework of billions of interconnecting channels. This gives Smelleze® an enormous surface area that is larger than several football fields. The latter enables Smelleze® to adsorb phenomenal amounts of formaldehyde odors.

    Environmentally Friendly

The Smelleze® Natural Formaldehyde Spill & Odor Absorbent Granules are non-toxic, safe, non-hazardous, natural, non-scented, non-flammable, and non-caustic. It is an ideal environmentally friendly solution for eliminating formaldehyde odors without adding pollutants to the air employees breathe and improving indoor air quality. Smelleze® does not contain chemical additives and is especially beneficial for those suffering from chemical sensitivity.
